How To Get Rid Of Nature’s Miracle Smell (Answered)

Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Eliminator is great for getting rid of your cats horrible pee smell but leaves behind a strong harsh chemical odor that lingers may potentially cause respiratory tract irritation in some folks, myself included, and believe me it sucks. But you can eliminate that horrible odor and save your lungs in the process. Here’s how.

A mixture of 50% water and 50% vinegar sprayed over the area you doused with Nature’s Miracle will help lessen the effects of the harsh chemical smell of the product. Spray this mixture on the area once a day until the Nature’s miracle smell is undetected. Once dry, lightly dust  baking soda over the area. The smell should now be tolerable and safe for your lungs.

How does Nature’s Miracle work?

Nature’s Miracle is a bacteria based formula that produces enzymes that chemically break down cat pee, eliminating the smell at it’s source, discouraging your cat from peeing in the same area again. However, it does say that this product may cause respiratory tract irritation. This is something I can attest to. Karma had a little accident on my bed and I sprayed some Nature’s Miracle on it and slept with the window closed. When I woke up my throat felt tight and breathing was a tad difficult. This lasted for about 5 days with my symptoms getting better each day.
